Wrap Up May 2021

Hi! It's been a while, college get me so busy that I wasn't able to upload weekly. However, I think now it's the time to come back to the blog and, as it's a new beginnig, renamed so... Welcome to Bee's Living Bubble.

Today I bring the wrap up of my readings and series from the month of May 2021:

First of all, I've only had a reading on the list although I'm pretty sure I read more:

- The Importance of being Earnest by Oscar Wilde is the one and only play that I read on May. In any case, I hope I start reading more from the theatrical genre in the near future.

In my opinion, the characters are just so funny, I loved the way in which Wilde criticizes the society and his own critics. In a nutshell, the play is willy, sharp, clever.

In regard to what I watched the last month, I've got two documentaries, an anime and some western series:
- Outlander, in concrete the first season. I love love love love this. I'll write more about it when I read the Diana Gabaldon's books.

- The Good Doctor, season 2. Just a great doctors drama, it's a great option if you want to hang out with a doctors series but no with romance cliché.

- One Child Nation is a documentary about the one child policy in China between the years 1987 to 2015 and how it affected the way of living of the Chinese people. To be honest, I enjoyed it a lot, not to say it is pleasurable which it is not but I learnt a lot and the director Nanfu Wang focused it in a great way.

- Love, Marilyn was a bit too sad to watch. I consider myself a Marilyn Monroe's fan so I knew her life was hard but not that hard. I wonder what would have becume of her if she hadn't been an actress and sex symbol, would she be alive? It was her 95th birthday just somedays ago...
Last but not least:
- Aggretsuko has been my instrument of de-stress from college. I really like how cute the characters are and the way they treat the daily problems.

Where to watch them all:
Besides Aggretsuko and Outlander that are from Netflix, you can find the rest of titles at Amazon Prime Video 😄😘.
